Using Liability Waivers - ELesson 13
Your
Mission
this month -
should you choose to accept
- is to begin using liability
waivers to communicate more clearly to pet parents the risks involved with serious pet aggression and
destruction issues.
You want to require sedation to protect your team for
procedures that involve aggressive pets and to protect pets
from
procedures that will cause pain or emotional trauma. Tell
pet parents that you do NOT want pets to remember a frightful or
painful experience at your location.
Waivers help educate
pet parents about the risks of serious pet behavior problems
and their potential liability. Serious pet behavior problems
are the cases that really
benefit from a thorough pet behavior evaluation by
Veterinary Behavior Consultant, Dr. Rolan Tripp or
Associate. Call 1-800-372-3706 for more information.
You are learning how to
transform your animal care methods and location protocols into kinder, gentler
experiences for pets and their people! We are here to help
you every step of the
way!
