Getting Started Day Seven - Trust is a Must!

 
Imagine an adult dog that is easy for you or anyone else to groom or examine and one who loves to cuddle. Here are two common mistakes people make with young puppies that prevent them for enjoying handling and human affection.

1.  They play rough, allowing the pup to bite and growl and learn to play rough with humans instead of teaching the puppy from Day 1 how to be gentle with humans.

2.   They physically punish the puppy instead of teaching the puppy that human hands are trustworthy and the providers of ALL good things, and ONLY good things.
