Off Label Use of Behavior Medications
Some pets benefit from the use of behavior medications. Most behavior medications suggested are "Off Label" use. This means the medication has not passed FDA and other tests for this problem in this species. Off Label use is legal and commonly used for medications where there is insufficient financial incentive for a company to complete all the trials required by FDA. The client may refuse to use these medications, but if used, releases all related parties from liability related to their use.

The client is purchasing printed text or professional time for analysis, opinion and recommendations. The client agrees to hold ABN, the veterinarian, trainer, behaviorist and related parties harmless for any negative outcome.

Pricing and Payment Policies
The goal of the initial consultation is to develop a differential and tentative behavioral diagnosis, and prognosis. If the owner would like to pursue treatment based on the evaluation the subsequent consultation fee is an hourly rate quoted by the behaviorist for time spent working on the case. This includes consultation time with the owner, veterinarian, or local trainer spent working on the owner's behalf.
