This information is

This experience is one of the best things you can do for
the dog.
Their brain’s
socialization period to
dogs and people is
between 3 and 20 weeks.
¨
According to experts on dog brain development,
puppies would ideally
begin to meet new dogs
at about 3 weeks of age,
and new people by 5
weeks.
The brains ability
to properly socialize to
dogs and people
decreases significantly
by 15-20 weeks of age.
¨
Many dogs who do not receive
the proper early
experiences, develop
behavior problems later
in life such as
aggression, fearfulness
and inability to play.
¨
Parties can be attended as long as the dog does not have
adult canine teeth in
place.
¨
Requirements are that the puppy has been in your
possession for at least
2 weeks, be 8-20 weeks
old, have a DVM physical
exam, a negative fecal
test, and one set of
vaccines at least 1 week
before class. Don’t bring the pup if acting sick,
coughing or diarrhea is
present.

Our clients tell us the parties are very helpful. We know that many puppies are surrendered
to shelters at 6 months
of age for bad behavior.
