Rolan Tripp, DVM
in dog training, means
to have the dog’s leash attached to you when indoors.
Usually in hand, belt loop, or tied to your ankle.
The dog is required to follow you everywhere in the
house, and rest when you are not moving.
This is a strong bonding technique, but can be
overdone over time to create Separation Anxiety.
Done initially, it creates a positive bond, and prevents
bad habits such as housesoiling or destruction.
