Long Term Confinement
(Until fully housetrained)
“Long Term” = if you are gone longer
than “hold it” times.
If no small room is available, then
purchase an “X-pen”.
Provide a portable kennel with a cushy
This will become the pet’s “safe
Provide an indoor toilet.
i.e. a litter or
other plastic pan with dirt, litter, or
Leave food and water if gone more
than 6 hours.
Leave acceptable chew toys inside.
You now have a self contained dog that
will not soil or destroy the house.
This is an excellent setup, but needs
chew toys and a water bowl.
Close pen the door when gone.
