With one hand under the collar, place the other hand over the muzzle and press down, saying, “Quiet.”  As soon as the barking stops, begin praising saying, “Quiet....Gooooood Quiet."

If the dog spins, or continues to try to bark, use a Gentle Leader, or simply move the dog away from the stimulus.
