Setting Up DaySchool
DaySchool is
also known as, "Daily Board
and Train." In this service,
a qualified trainer is spending
30 minutes to one hour (sometime during the
day) with a specific pet, attempting
to accomplish specific goals.
In most cases,
DaySchool follows a pet behavior
analysis
to determine the probable causes
of the pet's behaviors and
outline a treatment plan for
improving behavior.
The
pet (usually a dog) must be in DayCare that day, so usually there
is a fee for each service separately.
A typical enrollment in DaySchool
includes a Behavior Consult, and
a minimum of 4 days of DaySchool. The one-on-one concentrated hour
of DaySchool training can
include these goals:
-
Increase Socialization
-
Lessen
Fearfulness
-
Lessen
Dominance
-
Lessen
Unwanted
Repetitive Behaviors
-
Increase Vocabulary Cues
-
Learn
Tricks
-

Specialized Treatment Programs

a specific dog though the DaySchool
Expanded Checklist which will

and make them even better companions.
