Just minutes a day of learning gives you the best relationship possible with your cat!

Getting Started - Cat Spraying

Spraying is the deposition of small amounts of urine on vertical surfaces. Some cats will back up to a surface, tail straight up quivering in the air without spraying urine. Consider this one step away from actually spraying.

Cats may also mark territory by leaving small amounts of urine and occasionally stool on horizontal surfaces.

Marking may be triggered by other cats outdoors, or cats that live in the same household. Cats will also mark their territory when they feel threatened or stressed due to the arrival of a new pet, changes in household routines and other environmental and social changes.
