Pet
Behavior Analysis Steps
from DVM
1. The
attending Veterinarian
calls with
client information or faxes a
form
to 1-800-372-3706 requesting
a Pet
Behavior History Analysis be
offered on their behalf to a
client with a pet behavior
problem.
2.
An Veterinary
Behavior Technician
(VBT) contacts the client
on behalf of
the attending Veterinarian and
Dr Rolan Tripp to explain
and offer the service.
If the client
makes the appointment, payment
is applied (Shopping Cart)
and a pet
behavior history form - the
PetEthogram™
- is sent to the client by email
to
complete from the convenience of
home and then submit online for
evaluation by the Veterinary
Behavior Consultant (VBC).

The VBC calls the client at the
appointment time to
discuss the Analysis that will
be sent to the pet's Attending
DVM (ADVM).
4.
The Analysis
report
includes: probable causes for
the unwanted behavior, prognosis for
improvement with treatment,
suggested behavior therapy and
further diagnostics that are
indicated. Behavior medicine is
prescribed by the ADVM as
needed. Client is offered behavior
education by the Network to
support the ADVM and to assure
pet and client success.
